Walsh Western International Announces Acquisition of TDS Logistics
Walsh Western International, (WWI) headquartered in Dublin, has consolidated its
position as one of Europe’s leading logistics companies by acquiring TDS Logistics, a
specialist provider to the automotive sector.
WWI is a provider of fulfillment and transportation solutions for the technology
sector. Employing 2,000 people and managing 18 logistics sites in the Ireland, UK,
the Netherlands and Germany. WWI provides a broad range of high quality services
that include Fulfilment, Reverse Logistics, Freight Management and Transportation
Services.
TDS logistics, based in Atlanta, GA is a global provider of complex supply chain
solutions for the automotive industry. The company employs 7,000 people and
manages 36 logistics facilities on four continents including the US, Canada, Belgium,
Brazil, UK, China and Germany. The acquisition will result in WWI being a leading
global provider of supply chain solutions for the automotive industry, as well as the
technology sector.
The combined companies will have a turnover of $700 million and will immediately
begin a merger process. Both companies see the merger as providing the potential
of significant revenue synergies.

The merged companies will rollout a full re-branding of its name and image over the
next month or so.
